It is Mae, not a model
macoagent is Mae's coding console. It uses only the subscriptions you connect, classifies requests into bands on channel ladders, and keeps conversations and work in context memory.
Mae is a practical AI partner that conducts multiple models to fit the situation. Mae leads with the conclusion, handles the work rigorously, and stays quietly present.
Remembers past conversations
Conversations and work do not disappear when you close a session. Mae records what was changed and why in context memory, then retrieves that part and continues the answer when you return. You do not need to explain yesterday's conversation from the beginning today.
Your own subscriptions
Only providers you connect are used: Claude, Codex, Grok, Antigravity (Gemini), OpenCode, local Qwen, and Kiro. Unconnected channels are never called.
Claude
The primary MAIN channel for prose writing and design judgment.
Codex
Assigned to high-volume work such as repeated implementation and translation.
Grok
When connected, it serves as an alternative path in request-band channel ladders.
Antigravity
A Gemini channel that joins the band's alternative execution paths when connected.
OpenCode
A collection of open models used as an alternative ladder path when connected.
Qwen-local
Secret-sensitive work goes to local Qwen first and does not leave the machine.
Kiro
When connected, it becomes a candidate in request-band ladders for alternative execution.
Keeps
Stores each session's conversations, work events, summaries, and recently touched files by workspace.
Recalls
When you reopen a session, Mae continues with the previous summary and conversation thread intact. You do not need to restore the context.
Continues
If you need to go further back, it retrieves the conversations and work from that time in the work log.
